This is a story of one man’s journey
discovering life through experience, trials,
and triumphs. He is a man, like many
others, who yearns to understand our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ. With his faith in
the Lord he faces challenges from
childhood to his twenty-sixth year.
Adventure leads him down surprising
paths, often by his own judgment, where
he learns that following Christ is the simple
answer to life’s success. He becomes a
witness to the glory of God as he conquers
hardships and enduring obstacles that mold
the fabric of his character.
As a soldier in the Iraq war he is tossed
into situations that nearly take his life.
While working in Yellowstone National
Park he is followed and trapped at the top
of a rocky mountain cliff by a grizzly bear.
His courage is tested and proved. By faith
alone he breaks the barriers of life’s
challenges and comes to the gripping
discovery of God’s truth in the lives of
those who simply believe. With a walking
stick in his hand and a backpack slung
over his shoulder he journeys down God-
given paths and learns to yield with the
realization that the best trails in life are
those where you are simply going with God.
